The state of America's retirement plans

The global pandemic has touched almost every part of our lives, including retirement. Many employees are rethinking how they plan for — and fund — their golden years. And plan sponsors are faced with new rules, with more changes on the horizon.

We'll discuss the future of retirement, taking into consideration workforce trends, low interest rates, and an uncertain legislative environment.

In response to the pandemic, new legislation now gives employees access to their retirement savings and allows plan sponsors to push off retirement funding. What is the potential long-term impact of these changes and what can organizations do to strengthen their retirement programs and help employees and members prepare for a more secure future?

Our speakers will discuss:
  • How the pandemic impacted the U.S. economy and life expectancy
  • The outlook for defined benefit plans and sponsors
  • Defined contribution plan changes and what employers should think about next
We will allow time at the end of the session to address audience questions.
