Workforce trends: The emotional toll of COVID-19 and why it matters

A new employee wellbeing survey shows U.S. workers continue to struggle emotionally as the pandemic takes a toll on their professional and personal lives. We’ll discuss the results, the impact on the workplace, and strategies to meet evolving employee needs.

More than six months into the pandemic, employees are more worried, more fatigued, and more concerned about their future, according to a new survey completed by Leading Indicator Systems (LIS). The stress of balancing jobs, family responsibilities, and heightened health concerns, plus a challenging economic and social environment, is changing attitudes and predicted to have a lasting impact on the workplace.

Organizations know that happier, healthier employees are more productive. But with two in three survey respondents believing the worst is yet to come, organizations will need to adapt.
Join us and guest speaker John Penrose, CEO of LIS, to learn:

  • What the survey reveals about the impact of the pandemic on employee wellbeing
  • The role emotions play in driving key indicators like employee engagement
  • How to turn these insights into programs that address employee needs and produce measurable business outcomes
  • Creative strategies to re-engage and re-energize your workforce
  • The long-term implications for the employer/employee relationship
We will allow time at the end of the session to address audience questions.
